Due to popular request Russian pianist Vitaly Pisarenko returns to The Guiting Music Festival again this year. Having played his first public recital at the age of 6 Vitaly went on to win First Prize at the 8th International Franz Liszt Piano Competition in the Netherlands. He also won third prize in the Leeds Piano Competition in 2015. He has studied at music schools in Kiev and Moscow as well as the Royal College of Music in London. Described as ‘one of the most precocious and original young talents of the keyboard in recent years’, and as ‘certain to be one of the foremost pianists of this generation’ Vitaly has performed in more than 25 countries throughout Europe, Asia and both South and North America. His exciting and adventurous piano style is shown to great advantage across a repertoire including Liszt, Saint-Saens, Rachmaninov, Tchaikovsky and Prokofiev’.
